next meeting: new location Boarding Restaurant

Please watch for the alternative location next week as Pfeiffer University is closed next week.

We will meet at 6.30 PM (18.30) for a social hour at a restaurant. This is not only a great idea to learn more about the fellow Rotarians but also to discuss some charitable projects and fundraisers. Stay tuned, location will follow soon.

This is all I have at this time:

There is a Chinese restaurant on the Park Road Shopping center that had a separate room you can reserve. It holds at least 10 if I remember correctly. The name is Boading.

Personally, I think it's the best , freshest Chinese restaurant in Charlotte.

Social Media?

Great that there is a discussion at Charlotte International Rotary Club (CIRC) about social media and the outreach. I hope this discussion will also lead to more persons writing here, posting their thoughts and observations or even better, prepare a little article about the last meeting. Charter of CIRCUS

Congratulations to everyone, the Charter Members of CIRCUS, and the Matthews and Ballantyne Rotary Clubs for all what was done to enable us to ask RI for the Charter of CIRCUS.

Now we can look forward to the real work to be done by the members of CIRCUS. Projects, additional members, great social events and good meeting programs will be at the top of the list of priorities.

After all, let's have fun with it, with fun being part of fun-draising.
